---be festival (27/6/2011--12/7/2011)

"be festival" is an Europen theatre festival in Birmingham. I help them to make some props, setting up the stage, installation and decorating the whole site. during the performance nights, i am a technical support and catering for the audidence and artists. after the the all performance, i help them Dismantle.
it is the first time i involved in such a big festival, and experience all the process of this event. (include preparation, installation, catering, and Dismantling), very enjoy!

"b-ART-er" is a group art exhibition in in an empty shop unit of Birmingham, my classmates and i orgnised this exhibition, we found the vanue and the artists, set up and dismantle, we did all the process of this exhibition by ourselves.
the theme of this exhibition is about consumerism, value and exchange. we invited 6 artists who are using the empty shop as a space to question economic recession through ephemeral works. Visitors are invited to exchange ideas...

I help them deliver some community events and work shops with other member, like leading some children make some cake decorating, face painting, BBQ, and play some games with kids. It was so happy as I can spend a lot of time with kids, i love kids!!
